Giving back to the communities where we live and work is a huge part of our culture at EDiS. Whether it be through charitable support, volunteer hours, or engaging with students, our company and our staff get behind the causes that matter most to them, supporting with their time, talents, and treasure.
Student Engagement
EDiS has a long history of building school projects, and we take our responsibility to student education very seriously. Whenever possible, we bring students from local high schools and higher education institutions for tours of our job sites.
Job Fairs
Williamson College of the Trades in Media, PA graduates some of the best and brightest young construction professionals in the country. EDiS alumni visit the annual job fair at Williamson to speak to students, giving them advice on school and their future as well as looking for potential hires to join the EDiS family.
Charitable Walks/Events
The EDiS family is constantly looking for ways to improve the communities around them. Whether it be a 5K, golf tournament, sporting event, or simply a day of giving, securing contributions and raising awareness for impactful causes embodies the familial spirit at EDiS.
In This Together Virtual 5K
The In This Together Virtual 5K offered an opportunity for everyone to carve out some time doing something healthy while supporting the Delaware community. It was a chance to bring some hope and light to everyone involved. That’s why we invited the entire community, EDiS employees, non-profit organizations, businesses, friends, family, and more to join us in donating to any cause of their choice.
EDiS Company is dedicated to Building What Matters in our community, so when we had the opportunity to partner with TEDxWilmington, we knew it was an opportunity to further that mission. TEDxWilmington is a nonprofit organization and global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. Like EDiS, TEDxWilmington believes passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world. We at EDiS look forward to sharing this platform with them to spread positive ideas for the world, and for Delaware.
