Senior Superintendent
Tom Amoroso brings more than four decades of hands-on experience in construction to his role as Senior Superintendent at EDiS. Tom’s journey began in masonry, working alongside his father. Over the years, he has held many roles in construction, but ultimately his passion is leading teams on the jobsite. For Tom, nothing compares to the pride of standing back at the end of a project and saying, “I helped build that.”
Throughout his career, Tom has successfully led complex construction projects across healthcare, higher education, hospitality, life sciences, and retail sectors. His resume includes everything from 18-story towers and multi-phase hospital renovations to multi-building shopping centers and campus residence halls. Known for his detailed, persistent, and dedicated approach, Tom believes in a collaborative site culture built on mutual respect and high performance. He believes the key to any successful project lies in understanding and managing people—more than plans or specs, personalities shape the way work gets done.
Tom’s decision to join EDiS was rooted in a deeply personal connection to the company’s story—one that mirrors his own family’s path. His father emigrated from Italy and built a life in construction, much like the EDiS legacy. That shared foundation of hard work, integrity, and pride in craftsmanship is what drew Tom in. At EDiS, he continues to build more than just structures—he builds trust, teamwork, and lasting impact.
