Chief Estimator
Estimating may be a numbers game, but Paul brings creativity and imagination to an analytical discipline. It makes all the difference.
As Chief Estimator, Paul is responsible for managing all aspects of estimating from initial inception through construction. Duties include developing various cost studies such as value engineering reports and cash flow analysis, preparing value engineering options and alternative means of construction that result in cost savings. Additionally, Paul is responsible for completing constructability reviews of project documents during the design phase. Paul has been with EDiS full-time since 1994 and has served as both a project manager and estimator. In his role as a Wilmington City Councilman, Paul learned to successfully navigate various governmental agencies, and worked closely with community and business groups to find common ground. He applies these skills to each EDiS project, helping to work with the stakeholders to gain and share knowledge, achieve consensus, and bring about a successful outcome.
Flyers Hockey
As a season ticket holder, you will find Paul at just about every Flyers game cheering them on! Let’s Go Flyers!
Community Service
Giving back to the community, especially in Wilmington, is very important to Paul. From working in the Mayor’s office as a teen to serving as a Wilmington City Councilman in the 7th district from 2005 to 2013 to his current role as President of the Board of Directors for the Delaware Center for Horticulture, you will always find Paul advocating for the community.
Disney
Paul and his family are definitely Disney buffs. They enjoy their trips, at least twice a year, to Walt Disney World in Florida. They would like to eventually branch out to visit all of the “worlds” and “lands” around the globe.
Music
By growing up in a musical family, music became an important and beloved part of Paul’s life. From Big Bands to the Blues and from Classical to Rock and Roll, there is not a genre that Paul doesn’t appreciate and enjoy!
