Project Engineer
Freddy Canteen is a Project Engineer at EDiS, and brings a background in construction project management and a passion for people-focused work. A graduate of the University of Michigan with post-graduate studies from the University of Notre Dame, Freddy’s experience includes workforce development initiatives, infrastructure projects, and community-focused construction programs. His early career included roles ranging from laborer to supervisor, giving him a well-rounded view of the field.
Freddy’s strengths—punctuality, people skills, and composure under pressure—shine in fast-paced environments where teamwork and communication are critical. He’s passionate about meeting people where they are to forge long-term, successful relationships, and supporting small businesses and clients with realistic expectations and consistent follow-through. What drives him is the ever-changing nature of construction and the opportunity to learn from every person and project.
Outside of the job site, Freddy is deeply engaged in community development. He is a certified Mental Health Technician, and the founder of a football and life skills camp that focuses on mentorship, character development, and athletic skills for at-risk youth.
