Derrick Smith joins EDiS as an experienced Superintendent, bringing a diverse background in the construction industry. He started his career as a superintendent, and has since gained extensive experience in various roles, including self-perform operations and project engineering. His well-rounded background makes him a well-rounded voice at the table when overseeing complex construction projects on site, and delivering a smooth project from start to finish.

Derrick excels in connecting with people, a skill that’s vital in the construction industry. His ability to bridge the communication gap between clients and subcontractors sets him apart as a leader. Known for his detail-oriented approach, Derrick is meticulous when it comes to inspecting work, reviewing specs and drawings, and detailed documentation.

With certifications in OSHA 30, CPR, and First Aid, Derrick is committed to safety and accountability on every job site. His philosophy of taking ownership of his words and actions, coupled with his honesty and dedication, creates a foundation of trust with his team and clients alike.
