This general contracting project included the removal of the YMCA’s existing air handling and ventilation units and air distribution system to provide a new dehumidification air handler and air distribution system. The client also requested modifications to include the removal of an existing ACT drop ceiling and painting of the ceiling structure. The YMCA is a hands-on owner when it comes to managing and renovating their facilities. Like EDiS, they have a keen focus on people and safety, one that is complemented by EDiS Company health & safety practices. Laying out a specific logistics and safety plan for this project, and then properly communicating it with the YMCA team, was an essential factor for client buy-in and success. EDiS worked with the YMCA to ensure that safety protocols were performed to their standards, as well as our own.
