Sunoco NextEra Warehouse

Sunoco Logistics Partners and NextEra decided that their current Marcus Hook, PA facility no longer fit their needs. They needed a builder that could offer a best-value solution with a fast-track schedule. They hoped to utilize their existing racking storage system in a new facility that would suit their needs for the long term, but needed one with an open floor plan-no interior columns. EDiS Building Systems (EBS) Solutions, a division of EDiS Company, was hired by Sunoco and NextEra to deliver a design-build solution for the new warehouse. Butler pre-engineered metal buildings, known for having one of the widest clear span systems, allowed for the open space floor plan required by the client. The EBS team used the Butler Classic™ II Wide Span Building, offering a low amount of engineering hours and fast delivery. Butler provided the perfect solution for a fast turn-around while still delivering flexibility in design and quality construction.
