The Mary Campbell Center was built in 1976 on the promise of creating a homelike and supportive environment for individuals with various disabilities. With support from devoted staff, a dedicated board of directors, caring volunteers, legislators, community friends, and loving families, The Center provides residency, respite care, an adult day program, and children and youth programs to people with disabilities. Both EDiS and the DiSabatino family have had an extensive role in the original construction and the multiple additions and renovations the center has seen throughout the past 43 years.

"The wonderful partnership between the Mary Campbell Center and EDiS has produced a project that exceeded all our expectations."

The project includes a new expanded dining area, nursing station, case managers’ office, and support spaces. The space was built over an existing patio that received little use. Four new resident rooms were added to the perimeter to replace four rooms which are now repurposed for power-wheelchair charging and maintenance. A new basement provides secure storage for emergency food and water supplies. Its construction was a technical challenge due to its proximity to the existing structure, but did not stall the project.
