Private K-12

Indian Creek School District contracted with EDiS Company and Affordable Building Concepts to design and construct a new two-story school on 114 wooded acres in Crownsville, Maryland. The building was designed around a Butler pre-engineered steel structure. The exterior skin consists of Butler’s Koreteck insulated panel system, Vistawall aluminum doors and windows, and a brick veneer. Through the ABC method of design and construction in conjunction with innovations from Butler the cost of the building is significantly less than buildings of similar size and function.

The new building consists of 26 classrooms, three science labs, two art rooms, and two music rooms. A 450-seat auditorium is the focal point for the school’s active performing arts program. A full-size gymnasium provides the setting for competitive basketball and volleyball games.
