To Jim Ruggiero – Celebrating an Amazing Year of Service

The EDiS Company team would like to congratulate Director of Safety & Health Jim Ruggiero on earning the prestigious Richard P. DiSabatino, Sr. Award! This award is given annually to an individual who contributes the most to Delaware Contractors Association activities and the Delaware built environment as a whole. It is through his leadership that EDiS has been able to maintain our Health & Safety standards for so long.

Jim, along with all of our project team members, are also responsible for earning one of EDiS’ lowest EMR rates to date, landing us in the top 1% of companies in the region for safety. ABC Delaware has recognized EDiS Company with the Diamond Level STEP (Safety Training and Evaluation Process) Award for 2022 as a result, the highest honor possible in that category.

In addition, for decades the Delaware Contractors Association (DCA) has hosted the Governor’s Safety Award Program. Now in its 22nd year, this prestigious award program honors those firms emphasizing safety while bringing distinction, skill, and integrity to the construction industry. EDiS was selected by an independent team of safety judges for recognition as a recipient of this award. The EDiS team was there to accept the award on behalf of Jim for the 22nd year in a row.
