At EDiS, success doesn’t just happen—it’s carefully crafted by the people on our team. Monika Mickute is one of those key individuals who goes above and beyond to ensure that our projects thrive. Her recent work putting together a highly effective bidding strategy for Archmere Academy’s Performing Arts Renovation is a perfect example of her impact.
During a period when subcontractors were juggling a higher than typical volume of work – a scenario that can lead to a less competitive bid, Monika proactively addressed the situation. She didn’t just depend on established resources; instead, she expanded her outreach. Monika integrated known relationships while incorporating new contacts, including several new minority contractors recommended by our Hodgson team and Estimating department. Her efforts resulted in a pool of over 400 contacts, resulting in diverse bidding options for our client.
But it wasn’t just about sending out invites. Monika followed up personally with rounds of emails, calls, and reminders, ensuring that no interested bidder was left behind. Her charm and persistence paid off, as the high level of participation resulted in an overall successful bid.
Having Monika on the Archmere team isn’t just about staffing the project; it’s turned into a game changer. Check out more from Monika about the Archmere project here!
