Project Manager

Are you ready to turn plans into progress and ideas into impact? At EDiS, we’re looking for a Project Manager who’s energized by building strong teams, working closely with clients, and seeing projects through from start to finish. If you’re someone who thrives on problem-solving, collaboration, and bringing order to complexity—we’d love to have you on our team.

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead day-to-day project operations, keeping quality, schedules, and budgets on track. You’ll be the hub that connects clients, design teams, and field operations—and as you grow in this role, you’ll take on more responsibility for independently leading projects. If you’re looking to build a meaningful career while building something real, this might be your next big move.

Your Priorities Will Be:

  • Project Execution: Support planning, coordination, and day-to-day oversight of construction activities to keep projects moving forward.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with the Operations Manager, lead PM, and Superintendent to support the project team and foster strong internal and external partnerships.
  • Schedule and Cost Monitoring: Maintain and utilize the CPM schedule, track costs, and support timely financial reporting.
  • Pre-Construction Support: Assist in constructability reviews, bid process coordination, and scope development.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain thorough, accurate project documentation and provide timely communication to team members and stakeholders.
  • Client and Contractor Relationships: Serve as a trusted contact for clients and contractors, supporting smooth collaboration and repeat business opportunities.
  • Closeout Process: Assist with punch lists, archiving, and the completion of turnover documentation.

What’s your first step?

Typically, our hiring process follows the order below. We won’t move you on to the next round unless we’re serious about it, and we’ll let you know where you stand.

  1. First, we’ll review your resume. If you haven’t included references, you may be asked for them.
  2. Next, you’ll be invited to schedule a 30-minute screening call with a member of our team.

Day to Day you will:

  • Set the Foundation for Success: Engaging in pre-construction efforts, and creating front-end specs and scopes of work that set projects up for a successful bid.
  • Keep the Clock Ticking: Monitor the project’s CPM schedule against the work being done, focusing on critical tasks to keep everything running like clockwork—because a great project manager knows deadlines don’t wait! Help coordinate local regulatory inspections and approvals so they happen when they need to.
  • Be the Keeper of the Vault: Create and manage submittal registers, manage the review and approval process, support Pre-Install and project meetings by preparing agendas, coordinating logistics, and documenting notes and key decisions. Support project financial tracking, forecasting, and internal reporting.
  • Be the Roadblock Removing Partner: Assist with reviewing contractor change orders for accuracy and impact on schedule and budget.
  • Be the Master Communicator: You are the maintainer of project documentation, reports, and communication flow throughout the project.

Your Skills Look Like:

  • Tracker Hacker: You’re organized and proactive – with a good eye for how timelines and budgets intersect.
  • The Loop Master: You ARE the loop. You keep everyone – from clients, to field teams, to internal leaders – informed, aligned, and moving forward.
  • Tech Fluent: Proficient in industry software – Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, BIM software—plus all of the expected basics, because the right tools make all the difference.
  • Trust the Process: You care about doing things the right way, not just the fast way, or the way you’ve always done it!
  • In it to Win it: You are here to grow, and are open to the direction, feedback, and learning that will get you there.

Your Experience Looks Like:

  • A 4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of direct construction management experience, with projects in the $1M – $5M range.
  • Familiarity with multiple delivery methods (GC, CM, Design-Build).
  • Knowledge of specialty areas such as MEP systems or building envelope.
  • Certifications in OSHA 30-hour, CPR, and First Aid (or the ability to complete them).

Your Benefits Looks Like:

  • Medical and Dental Insurance
  • 401(k) match
  • Wellness Program
  • Short & Long Term Disability
  • Maternity & Paternity Leave
  • Tuition reimbursement program.
